Hill View Infant Academy
Our values underpin everything we do here at Hill View Infant Academy. They shape our curriculum, how we communicate and behave with each other and our constant drive for very high academic standards.
Hill View Infant Academy caters for 3 – 7 year olds, and we are confident that our children have an exciting, fun-filled four years with us that instils them with a love of learning, an enthusiasm, curiosity and motivation that will enable them to be exceptional independent learners.
As an Early Years school our curriculum is carefully planned and is heavily centred around play-based learning. This incorporates continuous provision both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor classrooms are progressive and encourage risk-taking and the development of key characteristics of effective learning. Teaching and learning is active and inspirational, ensuring the basics of Reading, Writing and Maths are firmly embedded.
We are very proud of the independence of our children, which is developed through our school council, anti-bullying crew, green ambassadors and little leaders to name a few.
Our school is committed to providing the best possible opportunities for the children in our care and this means constantly striving to be the best we can be for the children and families we serve.
Hill View Junior Academy
Here at Hill View Junior Academy, we feel privileged to work with such a dedicated team of staff in a school which holds the happiness, safety and welfare of all children at the heart of everything we do.
The children thoroughly enjoy coming to school and embrace the rich and exciting opportunities we provide across a purposeful and balanced curriculum that incorporates the core and foundation subjects and reflects the children’s own experiences and community in which they live. The children are a real credit to our school and display exceptional standards of behaviour and learning attitudes. Our children take pride in the respect and care they display towards one another and this subsequently creates a school culture in which everyone can flourish and thrive.
The staff strive to provide the highest standards of education and our end of Key Stage 2 results reflect the good levels of attainment that we see consistently achieved across the school. The children are encouraged and motivated to think creatively, find solutions to problems and cooperate with others when working as part of our team.
